Courtney Visited Memphis!

A couple of weeks ago, my good friend Courtney came to visit! It was the best weekend ever! I have missed her so much. Courtney and I have been friends since college in Rexburg. She's now crushing it in St. Louis in grad school.

I am so lucky that she made time to come see us in Memphis. Rory was obsessed with her (who isn't, honestly?) and we packed in all the Memphis we could! So, let's get into it!

On the first day we went to Buff City Soaps and shopped 'til we dropped because that store is seriously amazing. Later that night we went to the town center of Collierville and had some delicious dinner and walked around. For dessert we went to Miccos and got some freakshakes, because that's what you do when you're in Collierville!

The next day we started off with some donuts and kolaches from The Donut Box (my favorite) and headed to the city to catch a Sun Studios tour. I really like Sun Studios. This was my second time there and it was still awesome.

After we finished our tour we went to the Bass Pro Shops Pyramid for some lunch (and fudge, yum). This is my favorite thing to do with visitors. The pyramid is really cool, but going to the top and eating at the super cool (and kinda fancy) restaurant is so fun! Lunch with a view of the city is wonderful. We also went out on the sky deck to get some good views (and pictures) of the city.

After lunch we made our way over to The National Civil Rights Museum. This was a first for me. It was a really cool and interesting museum, but it was SO BUSY. There is so much information in that museum that you could easily spend an entire day there. I'm glad we went though. It was definitely worth the lines and the crowds.

After the museum we met Steven for some dinner at Central BBQ (our fave) and it was delicious as always.

The last day we started with breakfast at Arcade, YUM. Arcade is the oldest functioning diner in Memphis. I love it. I also love looking at all of the pictures of the famous people who have been to the restaurant.

To end the trip, Courtney requested a walk on Beale St. so that's what we did! It is always fun to take a stroll on Beale and go in the little shops and take pictures by the murals.

And there you have it! That was everything we did when Courtney came to town. It was so amazing to have her here. I missed my girl!
